For over 60 years, Bliss & Nyitray has worked hand in hand with our architectural partners to create structures that are as pleasurable to use as they are to look at. The mission of BNI is to provide structural engineering services responsive to the needs of our clients. Working in partnership with our build team, employees, colleagues and community, we strive to promote excellence in performance and a safe environment for all the people who will enter the doors of each building we engineer.
Company History
In 1955, Edwin C. Bliss founded a local structural engineering firm and was soon joined by John Nyitray. Together they formed the company that is now known as Bliss & Nyitray, Inc. Over fifty years of history and evolving culture have shaped Bliss & Nyitray into the reputable, quality-driven and client-focused firm that exists today.
In 2005 a group of long-time Bliss & Nyitray employees took over the leadership of the firm. This team fully embraces the values instilled by the founders of the company. Building on the solid technical foundation, today’s leadership is preparing Bliss & Nyitray for its next level of growth.
