Over the last decade, the City has developed such landmark projects as Largo Central Park, the Largo Cultural Center and the Largo Public Library. Downtown redevelopment is currently underway, as evidenced by the changes to West Bay Drive and the Clearwater-Largo Road Streetscaping project.

Company History
The community was incorporated in 1905 and 1913 became the first town in Florida and importantly, the second in the nation to adopt a town manager form of government. The town continued to grow rapidly through the 1920’s. As World War II veterans returned from the war, they found the welcoming climate and advantages of living on the coast.
Since then, Largo has continued to expand both its residents and business community. Today, Largo’s occupies 19 square miles and is the fourth (4th) largest population in the Tampa Bay area. The City provides regionally acclaimed Parks, Performing Arts and Library which was chosen State of Florida’s Library of the Year. Additionally, the City of Largo provides police, fire, public works, sewage collection and treatment and internal services which together provide superior services to residents and patrons of the City.
